TV Licence
It pains me every time I pay those left wing cunts at the BBC.I have cancelled my standing order but am unsure if I should pay up as I don't want to get a fine.
Do they come after people or is it just and idle threat ?

TM

They decided to broadcast a deepfake queen's speech instead of the real thing.

Re: TV Licence
Mine's going now as well.

Doesn't seem all that clever to give money to people who hate me.

Channel 4 get a slice of the licence fee and after what they broadcast on christmas day, they can all go fuck themselves..

Re: TV Licence
There have still been comedy gems among the recent overwhelming dross. Detectorists, Inside Number 9, Rev, Getting On. Probably more I can't remember offhand. But certainly not worth buying a licence for, when it eventually turns up on streaming sites. Besides, I just don't want to give the BBC money, just to be given the message that as a middle aged, heterosexual white right-winger, I'm an evil anachronism and it'd be best if I just died or something. I get enough of that on here, and at least I don't have to pay for the privilege 🙂

Having said that, the streaming sites have caught the silly disease in their modern, original content. I started watching an Austenesque series on Netflix last night, which contains aristocratic feminist characters bemoaning that they can't go to university, a black Queen Charlotte with a Filipino-looking lady in waiting, half the aristocracy are black (no exaggeration) and male acquaintances of upper class women explain to them the basics of masturbation while taking a pleasant stroll in the park.

Never paid it in my life.

All the letters are bollocks, they never even have your name on.

Its a legalised racket. Demanding money with menaces.

And its being done by a company which protected paedophiles and actively pushes identity politics

If anything you have a moral duty to *not* pay it.

The last TV series the BBC produced worth spit was Harry and Paul, most memorable was a one off anniversary edition The Story of the Two's I don't recall it being repeated much like they do with all their shit comedy output and they chased down every unofficial streaming service showing it online. It was that funny and cleverly revealing about the bullshit nature of the state propaganda apparatus slowly injecting the degenerative creep into British society's psyche.
They even send themselves up about the multi award winning yet unfunny Fast Show compared to Harry's own works which won none highlighting the new British culture of rewarding mediocrity over true genius and talent.

If the BBC made more than just one of these kind of shows it would almost be worth the licence fee, however this one off episode slipped through the net despite the institutes best efforts to sterilise and filter all "programming" through their carefully constructed distorting lense and is not the norm, Mrs brown's boys and Citizen Khan is pretty much the pinnacle of its current output nowadays.

I started this post about an hour ago and realised I watched the whole episode again and forgot to post.

They will say that because it’s UK it’s of more interest.
They have a ‘my sport’ section on the app where you can filter which sports you get shown. It’s not sophisticated enough to split WOMENS football from men’s football however

Sounds like Pochettino to PSG is on.
Tuchel to Arsenal maybe

Why does the BBC think the Scotland women's team manager getting the sack is a bigger story than the psg manager getting the same?

Re: TV Licence
Spoke to a Tory mate the other day who has over the years contorted and danced on pinheads watching them do precisely the same shit they cried about "Jeremy Corbyn and Dianne Abbott!!!!" doing who told me Boris was gonna scrap the BBC to prove how legit the globo-homo neoliberal fag Tory party was... I told him they will do no such thing as the BBC is only answerable to the establishment as it is their personal organ of misinformation and demoralisation propaganda, which just so happens to be who the representive leaders of the government work for also.
Seems they announced they will no longer be looking to stick to the pretend threat of decriminalising non TV tax payment.
Hooray for errrm... the BBC!?
Maybe if Tory voters crossed their fingers next time they vote, Priti Patelstein and Bojo will look out for the interests of Britons before serving their bosses interests first.

BBC licence fee U-TURN as Boris Johnson scraps plans to decriminalise non-payment
https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1375124/bbc-licence-fee-criminal-non-payment-Boris-Johnson-consultation-john-whittingdale
The reason so many...errrm ... cough 'centrists' are so convinced that the BBC has the right balance between left and right is because the new conservative right are neoliberal cancel culture faggots like the neoliberal left are.

So the BBC promoting every kind of societal ill and corruption is being championed by both sides of the established order.

But it very much IS trying to sell you shit you don't need.

The transaction currency is not the green-back and the the product is not something you can wave above your head and shout out "Look the fuck at what I've just bought."

See if you can guess what it is.

Or do they just have some meaningful benchmarks to compare it to?

Compared to the US it is fantastic to have something that isn’t entirely based on trying to sell you shit you don’t need.

"Probably not so much now the output is Miranda, Mrs Browns Boys & Citizen Khan"

The rate they're going tripe like that will soon be seen as something in the way of a pinnacle and the golden era of relatively recent BBC output.
